Trudging thru the snow

You've heard of the dog days of summer. These are the squirrel days of winter. New snow favors squirrels. We got new snow this weekend. I've got my snowshoes at the ready, but the going is tough out there for anything that doesn't jump from tree to tree. Wish me luck.

  3. New snow favors dogs too. At least you can see the fresh prints now.

  4. I think it is time to lay some traps with peanut butter. I have heard they find it hard to resist. Ask Boscoe about it.

  5. Its those peanuts in the shell they like, just like that little beggar in the picture is opening. Like I told Khyra today, just get a bag of nuts, lay them out in a 5' line, and dog lays at the end. The squirrels get all excited and happy and munch their way to the dog. SNAP! Goodbye squirrels.

    Glad to have helped.

    Kisses,
    Stella

  7. Riley T--do the shoeshoes go on fore or hind paws for tree climbing?
